Abstract
: In recent years, the hazard of heavy metals and toxins in shellfish gets increasing attentions
due to the environmental pollution. In this paper, control and reducing techniques of heavy metals and
toxins in shellfish were summarized, and the problems remained for further studies were indicated. Based
on these, the trend for the development of new strategies in the future was also proposed.
