Abstract:With the innovative development of the mobile internet, the live streaming of e-commerce model resulting from the integration of mobile social platforms, e-commerce platforms, and content platforms will bring new developments to the promotion and publicity of products and services, the innovation of marketing models, and the increase in sales. Live streaming of e-commerce has the characteristics of diversified channels, low industry thresholds, and strong real-time interaction. However, these advantages and characteristics have promoted the rapid development of the live streaming industry and also increased the risk of illegality, providing a convenient channel for false propaganda. The supervision and enforcement of the business has been brought huge difficulties. Food quality and safety is related to the lives and health of the people, and food false propaganda harms more seriously. This paper elaborated the forms of false propaganda of food, especially health food, in the live streaming of e-commerce, including the use of extreme words, exaggerated publicity, publicity of curative effect, publicity conclusion without scientific basis, false use of brand trademarks, false authentication, etc.. We had sorted out the relevant legal systems in China, such as the Food Safety Law, The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests, Measures for Penalties against Infringement upon Consumers' Rights and Interests, and Advertisements Law, etc., which included regulatory requirements for the false propaganda of food, in especial health food. Finally, it putted forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the access rules of live streaming platforms and establish the platform autonomy and self-examination mechanism to solve the problem of false propaganda of food, especially health food, in live streaming of e-commerce. It was hoped that through the establishment of a pattern of multi-subject participation and multi-mode governance, the scientific and effective supervision of false propaganda of food, especially health food, in live streaming of e-commerce could be realized.
