Abstract:Based on the analysis of current situations of Chinese beet sugar industry and main problems occurred during the developing process, this paper proposed suggestions about how to improve the beet sugar industry under the new development situation. Meanwhile, another aim of this paper was to inspire the industry peers and colleagues to pay attention to the development of beet sugar industry.

Abstract:This paper outlined some of the factors affecting fruits and vegetables quality and safety during the production processes and explored some of the control measures. The factors included producers' weak conscious about product quality and safety, illegal use of highly toxic pesticides, and excessive pesticide residues causing by the direct and indirect pollution of commonly used pesticides. Control measures were as follows: enhancing the propaganda of fruits and vegetables quality and safety, popularizing the harmless control technology, developing efficiency, low toxicity, and low-residue pesticides, developing and improving technical standards for fruits and vegetables production, and produce and supervision of fruits and vegetables based on standards.

Abstract:In this paper, the status and issues of pesticide residue and plant growth hormone residue in fruits and vegetables were briefly introduced. The role of the cold chain in the acquisition, storage, marketing, and other aspects of fruits and vegetables products were summarized, and some deficiency was raised. In order to keep the quality and safety of fruits and vegetables products in the cold chain logistics system, proposal was put forward to improve the transportation capacity of the food cold chain, which includes strengthening of hardware facilities, improving software technology, and introducing the third-party logistics companies and traceability system.

Abstract:Flos Sophora was used as a raw material for solid-state fermentation by Aspergillus niger M8, and changes of quercetin contens in Flos Sophora before and after being fermented were tested by HPLC. The results showed that after solid-state fermentation of Flos Sophora by Aspergillus niger M8, most of the rutin -95 62%- was transformed to quercetin and the quercetin content was increased from 3 28 mg/g to 39 23 mg/g, which was 11 96 times higher than unfermented Flos Sophora . The serum uric acid -SUA- content of mice treated by different doses -400 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg- of fermented Flos Sophora was decreased 24 37% and 17 96%, which was significantly - P <0 01- lower than that in the model group. However, the SUA content of mice treated by the high does of unfermented Flos Sophora -400 mg/kg- was only 2 23% lower than that of the control group. The results demonstrated that the solid-state fermentation by Aspergillus niger M8 could improve the reducing-SUA activity of Flos Sophora . Moreover, the blood urea nitrogen -BUN- and serum creatinine -SCr- contents in fermented Flos Sophora treatment groups were significantly - P <0 05- lower than these in the model group, which indicated that fermented Flos Sophora could reduce the injury of drugs on mice kidneys. Abstract:Orientin and isoorientin are isomers and flavonoid compounds that can be extracted from several plant species. However, their biological activities remain poorly understood. In this study, the effects of orientin and isoorientin on radical-scavenging activities -DPPH·, ABTS+·, H2O2, ·OH-, lipid peroxidation, Cu2+/H2O2 induced BSA and DNA oxidative damage, and BSA protein carbonyls were investigated. The results showed that orientin and isoorientin exhibited high radical-scavenging activities and also effectively protected biological macromolecules including proteins, lipids, and DNA against oxidative damage induced by Cu2+/H2O2. Moreover, the MTT assay revealed that orientin and isoorientin inhibited proliferation of HepG2 cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner, and the antioxidant and anticancer activities of isoorientin was much better than that of orientin. These results demonstrate the remarkable potentiality of isoorientin as a valuable nature antioxidant possessing original anticancer abilities.

Abstract:Antioxidant activities of sliver carp scale collagen peptides -SCSCP- were investigated. SCSCP was separated by ultrafiltration using the Omega membranes with molecular weights cut-off of 5, 3, and 1ku. Antioxidant activities of ultrafiltration fractions were evaluated using six in vitro methods. The results showed that the fraction with molecular weight less than 1 ku -SCSCP-IV- had the significantly - P <0 05- highest antioxidant activities. The SCSCP-IV fraction had higher hydrophobic amino acids and arginine contents, which might be contributed to the higher antioxidant activities. Meanwhile, the SCSCP-IV fraction could significantly - P<0 05- increase the activities of serum antioxidant enzymes SOD and GSH-Px and decrease the MDA content. The results showed the SCSCP-IV fraction had both in vitro and in vivo antioxidant activities.

Abstract:The change of flavonoids in brier grape wine during the storage under different conditions were studied and the results showed that main flavonoids in brier grape wine decreased with the storage time prolonged. Proper free sulfer dioxide, lower temperature, and full tank storage could prevent the decreasing of free anthocyanin, procyanidine, and total flavonoids. Under the conditions of 40 mg/L free sulfer dioxide and full tank storaged at 16 ℃ for twelve months, the preserving rates of free anthocyanin, procyanidine, and total flavonoids were 99 31%, 76 50%, and 92 12%, respectively.

Abstract:Pickling was the key factor during the microwave-vacuum drying process of abalone. This study discussed the effects of different concentrations of salt solution -0, 5%, 7 5%, 10%, 15%, and saturated salt solution- on abalone during the drying process by analyzing the drying curves, color, rehydration, and texture. The drying parameters were microwave power 2 000 W and vacuum degree -80 kPa. The results showed that salt solution was not conducive to the microwave-vacuum drying process and the quality of abalone when abalone was soaked both in distilled water and the salt concentration over 15%. When the salt concentration was 7 5%-10%, the drying rate significantly accelerated and the rehydration rate and rehydration ratio reached the maximum value. Meanwhile, better chewiness was obtained after rehydration and the color was uniform pale yellow. Considering the drying efficiency and products quality, a good pretreatment of abalone was 7 5% salt solution for immersion and boiling time 2 min

Abstract:The objective of this study was to increase the nutrient content of dried noodles by adding pumpkin powder and determine the effects of pumpkin powder on the cooking characteristics, texture properties, color, and sensory quality of noodles. The optimum cooking time, cooking loss, and thickness of noodle soup increased and the water absorption decreased with the increasing pumpkin powder addition. Meanwhile, the hardness of the cooked noodles increased while their tensile strength and stickiness decreased. The color of dried noodles became darker and b * values significantly increased - R 2=0 97-. In summary, noodles with 4% pumpkin powder were the most favorable in appearance, taste, texture, and acceptability among the four samples. The dietary fiber content was 0 8% higher than that of normal noodles and the β-carotene content increased to 0 321 mg/100 g.

Abstract:In order to research the fast and safe determination method of Rogor pesticide residues in spinage, the colorimetric reaction conditions were researched and optimized in this study according to the principle that Nitrosyl iron sodium cyanide can produce carmine product by reacting with Na 2S produced from the reaction between Rogor and NaOH solution. The experiment results showed that under the optimum coloring conditions 1×10 -6 Rogor pesticide could be detected at 390 nm absorption wavelength. The configuration method of the colorimetric system was analyzed and the optimum conditions were pH 5 7, suitable coloration temperature 24 ℃, and reaction time 20 s. The mathematical model was built by the least square method. The correlation coefficient was 0 941 5 and the sample recovery percent was 91 6%~108 9%, which provide the feasible basis for developing light source of portable pesticide residues detecting instrument.

Abstract:Octenyl succinic anhydride modified sugars -OSAS- was prepared by cane molasses sugars and octenyl succinic anhydrideand the properties of OSAS were studied. Then the green hand washing tableware detergent was prepared by OSAS, and the properties and detergency of tableware detergent were studied. The results showed t that the green hand washing tableware detergent prepared by OSAS had appropriate viscosity, good foamability, stability, and detergency, which meet the requirements of the national standard of tableware detergent.

Abstract:In order to summarize the characteristics of the composition and the packing process of the packaging machine with multiple columns and layers, the article described the composition and control system, rules of the multiple columns and layers, and packing process of the packaging machine. Based on the characteristics of the pillow shaped bags, the method of changing from the single row to multi-column and the delivery process of the multi-column pillow bags were investigated. In order to solve the multiple columns and layers packaging process of pillow shaped bags, the transmission system and packaging moving orbit were designed using the digital packaging cycle theory.

Abstract:Due to problems of NRG-P type cutting and indentation equipment, a new test method, the machine vision technology, was presented to improve its control performance. The main tasks were the recognition of the origin position and correction of the deviation angle, which were solved by the image collecting and image processing technology. The image processing included binarization, noise filtering, edge detecting, and calibration of image. Meanwhile, the driving circuit of CAN was designed. Moreover, the cutter movement orbits were amended and the machining accuracy was improved by the transform of the coordinate system rotation.

Abstract:The legal system of food safety is a complex hot issue. This paper analyzed the background of China's food safety and discussed the five development phases of food safety laws, rules, and regulations in the last sixty-four years. Moreover, the causes of food safety laws' prosperity were discussed and the existing problems were analyzed. Ten countermeasures to improve our country's system of food safety laws were putting forward.
