    Abstract:

    Plant lectins are a group of highly diverse, carbohydrate-binding proteins of non-immune origin that are ubiquitously distributed in plants. They have been widely studied due to the remarkable activities. In this review, we presented a brief outline of the research progress of plant lectins including the classification, carbohydrate-binding activity, biological activities, and applications.
